Private import from Gentile in the Naples region of Italy, high-end product

Tagliatelle is a wide, flat, ribbon-shaped Italian pasta. Originally from the Emilia-Romagna region, it is traditionally made with durum wheat semolina and water.

Tagliatelle pairs perfectly with a variety of sauces, including Bolognese sauce, mushroom cream sauce, or simply a drizzle of olive oil and Parmesan cheese. Their rough surface makes them ideal for soaking up sauces. They are typically served al dente, which gives them a beautiful texture and a savory flavor.

The origins of "Gentile" date back to 1876, taking its name from the property at the time: the Zampino family acquired the brand in the 1980s. Initially, the pasta production, to which the Natale Zampino pasta maker has been dedicated since day one, focused on "handmade fusilli," the famous shape made with a frame and left to dry slowly before being used in cooking. Later, as the company grew, they dedicated themselves to other shapes of long and short pasta.

"The history of the company is closely linked to that of our family, in the land we love, in the city where we were born and where everything happens: Gragnano, the city of pasta" -La famiglia Zampino
