How to cook your favorite pasta the ''al dente'' way.

To cook pasta "al dente", follow these simple steps:

1. Take a large saucepan and fill it with water. Add a generous amount of salt to the water. As a general rule of thumb, it is recommended to use about 1 to 2 tablespoons of salt for every liter of water.

2. Place the pot of salted water on the stove and bring it to a boil over medium to high heat.

3. When the water reaches a boil, add the pasta to the pot. Make sure the pasta is completely submerged in water.

4. Gently stir the pasta with a wooden spoon to prevent it from sticking together.

5. Check the cooking instructions on the pasta package for the recommended cooking time. However, to achieve an "al dente" texture, it is generally recommended to reduce the cooking time indicated on the package by about 1 to 2 minutes.

6. While cooking, taste the pasta regularly to check its firmness. When they are still slightly firm to the bite, but not crunchy, they are ready. Be careful not to overcook them, as they will become too soft.

7. Once the pasta is cooked to your liking, turn off the heat and drain it in a colander, do NOT rinse it with water.

Your “al dente” pasta is now ready to be served! You can accompany them with your favorite sauce.
