Since 1948, our truffles have told the story of Tenuta San Pietro a Pettine. Traveling beyond the borders of Umbrian tradition, living up to the creativity of the best chefs and igniting the wonder of the most demanding palates around the world.
This product is the result of an ancient Umbrian recipe that calls for three different types of roughly chopped mushrooms, pine nuts, extra virgin olive oil and shavings of our most fragrant black summer truffles. It is a traditional sauce for homemade pasta, but it is also excellent on bruschetta or as a topping on focaccia and “torte al testo”.
